Welcome to the Beginner Guide to Portrait Photography! This class goes over the basic principles and topics of portrait photography. You will learn various topics from manual settings, lighting, posing, editing and more. Little prior knowledge is needed, but having access to a DSLR camera is suggested.

The class project is to take 3 different portraits in 3 different locations. The model may stay the same, but you must find 3 different locations and attempt to convey different styles, ideas or poses at each location. Attempt to edit your photos well, but editing is not necessary. These will be posted to the class project for review from myself and your peers.

There is no prerequisite, anyone can begin this course.. This course is also great for beginners without any Posing knowledge.
