Students will learn how to color grade their photography and then create their own custom Lightroom color grading presets.

Color Grade One of Your Own Photos

ASSIGNMENT

Create your own cinematic look by color grading one of your own photos using the techniques learned in class.  

Through this assignment, students will apply the practical knowledge learned in class to produce their own color graded photography.  Students may use either Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop Camera RAW to complete their assignment.

DELIVERABLES

Upload one (or more) color graded photos. A finished assignment includes:

  • One (or more) color graded photos.
  • Written details about the color grading techniques applied.
  • Bonus Points – reimagine the same image by color grading using different tones to produce multiple different looks.
