As a global brand strategy executive, brand marketing thought leader, and co-author of the book, The Truth About Creating Brands People Love, she had influenced and led global brand marketing efforts for companies such as Energizer, Cardinal Health, Ingersoll-Rand and others.
In 2010, Ms. Heckler learned that she had Stage 3, Her-2 breast cancer just as she was beginning a new global marketing executive job. As she went through chemotherapy, multiple surgeries, and radiation while tackling a new position, she kept a blog of her many cancer experiences. Inspired to encourage other women to Be Radiant through cancer, her writings became the book Living Like A Lady When You Have Cancer.
Most of us face different hardships in life. In Ms. Heckler’s inspirational speech “And Then God Gave Me A Time Out” she shares how hardships forced her to spend some quiet time with God, leading her to understand what really matters in life; the importance of faith, and the fact that we are all radiant children of God.
