In this class you will learn how to illustrate an island, a bottle, a fox and ice cream in Procreate. You will be using the iPad and apple pencil. In this class you will learn key concepts such as lighting placement, using colors, rendering, drawing and color.
As well as how to use the app Procreate ,apple pencil and play with the textures and brushes. to create amazing illustrations
You’ll also find out how to adjust opacity, transparency, and value, which is super important when you start getting into inking, shading, and highlighting your drawings.

In the first illustration you will be learning how to make a wonderful island.
You will understand many concepts like: textures, brushes, proportion and colors.
Texture is a fundamental element in many pieces of art.
Textures are complex visual patterns composed of spatially organized, repeated entities, or sub-patterns,that have characteristic brightness, color, shape and size.
It appeals to our sense of touch, which can evoke feelings of pleasure, discomfort, or familiarity. Artists use this knowledge to elicit emotional responses from people who view their work.
The island gives the perfect opportunity to play with different textures, because it has many different objects: tree, sand, rocks, water.
Colors are important , you will learn to adjust the them, for the result to be enchanting to watch.
The second illustration is a bottle with a magic green potion in it, which will feel a little bit different, because you will learn about how to illustrate glass, transparency and highlights.
You will use the brushes to create all those effects, the glass is an interesting material to reproduce.
You will be surprised how easily this can be done, although the glass seems hard to do. Take this course and be thrilled by the tips and tricks you will learn, so in the future you could do another amazing bottles!
Also, after finishing the bottle you will be taught about how to combine these two to have as a final image a little beautiful island in a bottle. The final composition will make you proud of yourself!
The third illustration, a cute FOX eating a star, this will not be a challenge for you, because you already learned how to use Procreate from the previous illustrations. So you can enjoy creating the shapes and to render the fox in a delightful way. The fur, the eyes , the paws, all of her smooth and joyful parts will be super easy to do.
And for the last illustration, a delicious ice cream ! What can be better than a cold ice cream in a hot summer> Now you can make one by yourself, with chocolate and a cherry on top !
