What can you learn from this course?

Your Project
Use the methods for MIDI recording you have learned, to record and create a short 8 bar track: with drums, a chord progression and a bassline.

Instructions

  1. Use the mouse method to write in the notes manually for the drums.

  2. Use the MIDI import option to arrange MIDI files into a chord progression on a piano track.
    (I have attached a collection of common chords as MIDI files to the project)

  3. Record a bassline with your MIDI Keyboard using any sound preset in your DAW you like. If you don’t have a MIDI keyboard you can of course use the mouse method here as well.

– Add your project to this class, and be sure to include a link to your Website, Social Media Profile or YouTube Channel so other students can take a look and be inspired by what you do.
