Since it is taught from the Western perspective, it strives to honor the creators of these movements while blending it with other Urban styles. Each section has two different videos with two different sets of steps.

Johanna Taylor began studying Dancehall, Jamaican street dance in 2014 with renown choreographer and Ragga Jam creator, Laure Courtellemont. Soon after, she began traveling to New York and Los Angeles to continue her studies and fuse them with her own style and dance background in West African, Samba, Afro- Haitian, and other Caribbean dances. Soon after, she began traveling to Jamaica to study dancehall from the source. Her two recent trips brought her to study with Dancehall teachers and groups such as Kriptic Klique, Latonya Style, Xqlusive Dance Crew, Kimiko Versatile, Sopreme Blazzaz, and the Legendary Colo Colo. Currently, she teaches dancehall and dance fitness in various gyms and dance studios around San Diego county, and continues to train with Dancehall Funk in Los Angeles.
