Do you have a skill you want to share and teach others? But you have no idea where to start? Then you are in the right place!
What you learn
In this class you will learn how to make step-by step a professional Skillshare class. We start with explaining all the gear you need to film an online class. Whether you are filming with your phone, DSLR camera or any other device, I will explain how to use it.
Then we will move on to the next section: I will show you how to set up the frame in which you are going to talk and how you can be more creative with the space you have and make it look good!
After the frame section we will talk about lighting. Lighting is fundamental to film because it creates a visual mood, atmosphere, and sense of meaning for the audience. I will show how you can use cheap lights to make your footage like it is shot in a studio and how you can use fill lights to make your video look professional. Do not worry, if you are not having any lights, I will teach you how you can use natural lighting to film your Skillshare class.
Audio is just as important as lighting. We will discuss the importance of external audio devices, how you should place the mic, and much more.
Your camera is set up, you have decided the frame, lighting and audio are all good, and you have filmed your skill. Now we can talk about the postproduction! I will teach you tricks which you can use to make your class look more interesting. I will also talk about free audio software which gives you clean audio, so your footage would not look like it’s recorded from a cheap mic.
I hope to see your class coming by on Skillshare! I am looking forward to helping you in the process.
So, do I see you in my class? Let’s learn and create!
