Welcome to Ultimate guide to IGCSE Math (0580). This course is an absolute monster. I don’t even know how to count the number of hours it took to put it together. That’s comforting knowing that about your Math teacher right?
But seriously, it took me a really long time. I basically looked at the syllabus for IGCSE Math (0580) and made a lecture for every single topic that is covered. I scoured the internet but I couldn’t find one course that had it all, so I’m hoping to bridge that gap for you guys doing the IGCSE this year or in the coming years by providing you everything in the one spot.
Note – this course covers topics in the core curriculum and the extended one, so depending on which one you’re doing, please refer to the curriculum attached at the end of section 1 (numbers) and only do the relevant topics.
The high-level topics that are covered are:
1. Number
2. Algebra
3. Geometry
4. Mensuration
5. Co-ordinate geometry
6. Trigonometry
7. Matrices and Transformations
8. Statistics and Probability
As you can see from these topics (as well as the curriculum below), I cover some of the major topics at a high school level so this course is definitely not limited to those doing the IGCSE. Since Math is very generic, it will contain topics covered in most countries including the US, India etc. So be sure to check it out!
