What can you learn from this course?

In this assignment, you are going to create your own game theme planning using the theory I have provided to you in section 2 lectures. You’ll be using the inspiration four grid to create ideas then use the simple composing strategies to describe how you are going to start producing.

For this assignment, I would like you to look back at the inspiration four grid that we discussed in section 2. You are going to be creating an imaginary game with an imaginary theme for your composition planning.

I would like you to describe the location, emotion, character, and action. Once you have written a description of all four of these items you will have your theme.

After you have written out a detailed scene turn your attention towards the simple composing strategies we discussed in the theory section of section 2.

Please then describe how you plan on starting your production.

What simple composing strategy will you be using first?

Will it be melody, baseline, sound design, hook, structure, or layering instruments?

After you have completed the simple composing strategy planning please describe what kinds of instruments you will be using in this composition.
