Chess player, law and psychology student
Hey there!
I am Paul Carrero, for those of you who don’t know me yet, let me add a bit more of context, I am a 22 years old college student from Venezuela, going for double degrees, law and psychology, and for the last three years or so I’ve been listening to the thought process of people from +30 countries with a rating somewhere around 1400-1700 while playing against them, trying to understand what went wrong and trying to correct them.
Even though I got a rating of +2000 FIDE when I was around 15 years old, I always felt I could have improved way quicker if it wasn’t for the gigantic cloud of mystery, the immense amount of available information, and the lack of appropriate guidance that I faced when I started to play chess so I wanted to see if I could teach stuff in the way I’d like to be taught.
As a chess player some of my results include:
*Panamerican Scholar Sub champion U11 (Rapid chess).
*National Champion U2000 Venezuela (2014)
*National Sub Champion U16 (2013)
*College National Champion (2017). University of the Andes.
I’ll see you around!

Bests,

Paul.

Hola
*Segundo lugar campeonato nacional sub 16 (2013)
*Campeón en los juegos nacionales universitarios (2017). Representando a la Universidad de los Andes.

Saludos,

Paul
