This Building Confidence & Self-Expression Course may be just what you are looking for! Designed with beginners to creative art in mind, this course is ‘spot-on’ for ages 7-14 years old.
Each instructional video gives a step-by-step guide to motivate and empower your child to try creative art and see what they’re made of! The creative activities involve, drawing, mindful painting, crafts, music etc (plus bonus activities). They are encouraged to keep all their art work in an art journal which will reflect how hard they have worked but it also visually represents their strengths, talents, creativity & boundless potential!
The Building Confidence & Self-Expression Course is designed to give children and young people the tools they need for self-reflection, self-expression and to create safe space for creative thinking.
About the Instructor:
My name is Le’Siran but you can call me Liz. I help and support children and families for 20years! I complete 121 sessions to boost confidence, help overcome experiences of abuse and support them to understand and manage their emotions. The meaningful work and great results I have seen led me to become a certified Therapeutic Play Practitioner (not clinically trained) and I am also a Life Coach for Women and Business Consultant. Many of my clients have children and asked me to create a course that supported their families – so here I am. I’ve developed this course which combines my experience as a nursery manager, social worker, Barnados & refuge worker (amongst other similar roles) and my love for art and play therapy. I’ve seen first hand, the benefits of working creatively and therapeutically with children and families! It’s wonderful to see them empowered & motivated to develop their emotional literacy, social skills, support them to find their voice, and of course growing bucket loads of confidence!

Who is the target audience?
•This is a creative art course designed for children aged 6-14 years. This can include children with additional needs, learning difficulties or autism. The videos are aimed at engaging children. (It is not a course teaching practitioners/parents art therapy techniques to use with children).
•No drawing or art experience necessary.
•Teachers, youth workers alike can use the resources in this course to share with children they support if they wish, although you can contact me a for a copy of my book The Creative Child which inspired this course. Particularly for professionals working with children, this may be easier to use as a resource in your respective settings.
